May 9th - Mother's Day Peace of the Pie!

On this day celebrating Mother's Everywhere, we're asking people to take pies to Congress members and urge them to co-sponsor H.R. 808, which would establish a Cabinet-level U.S. Department of Peace to refocus our efforts on reducing and preventing violence, including violence against women. Join us in inviting Congress to respect the well-being of all women by supporting the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace.

Student Peace Alliance's Rob Atkinson Featured in YES! Magazine

Last October, the first Student Peace Alliance National Conference—Our Generation Calls for Peace—was held at Brandeis University in Massachusetts. Over 300 student and youth leaders from around the country came together to build and define the national youth movement for a U.S. Department of Peace. In addition to university students participants, the conference welcomed a large contingent of high school and middle school students.
